Order of the day

Here’s a little overview of how the day will unfold. Nothing too strict — just a guide so you know what to expect and when. Most importantly, we hope you’ll relax, enjoy, and celebrate with us.

14:00

You’re welcome to arrive from 14:00 at Het Broekerhuis. Grab a drink, hang your coat, and take a moment to settle in before the ceremony.

15:00

The main event. We’ll make things official and say “I do”. Our ceremony will be unplugged, so we kindly ask you to put away your phones and cameras and be fully present with us. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of photos to share afterwards.

16:00

Time for drinks, snacks, and catching up. We’ll also sneak away for a few photos while everyone enjoys the afternoon. Feel free to come say hi (and maybe end up in a few pictures).

17:30

A short walk through beautiful Broek in Waterland. Stretch your legs, explore the village, and enjoy the scenery. It’s completely optional, but we’d love for you to join us if you feel like getting a bit active.

(If the weather has other plans, we’ll stay cozy indoors.)

18:00

Time to sit down and enjoy dinner together. We’ll be serving a three-course meal with a French twist, followed by cake and other deserts to round off the dinner.

21:00

As the evening begins, we’ll move into a more relaxed and festive atmosphere. There will be music, dancing, and space to catch up with friends and family. Whether you’re on the dance floor or at the bar, just enjoy the night your way.

24:00

Around midnight, we’ll wrap up the celebration and say our goodbyes. After a full day of celebrating, it will be time to head home or back to your accommodation. Those of you taking public transportation, there are plenty of busses still going!
