How to get there
The wedding will take place at the venue “Het Broeker Huis”, a historic estate in the middle of Broek in Waterland. A few minutes away from Amsterdam, you can reach the venue both by private or public transportation. The adress is Leeteinde 16, 1151 AK Broek in Waterland.
By bike from Amsterdam:
From Amsterdam Centraal you can reach the venue in about 11km through Amsterdam Noord. For a scenic route, you can follow this suggested knooppunten route:
By public transportation:
Het Broeker Huis is located just about 15mins away from Amsterdam with the bus. There is plenty of connections running all day, this is really a relaxed way for coming to our wedding, and the bus will deposit you less than 10mins away by foot to the venue, where you will be able to appreciate this old charming village
Bus lines 314 and 316 will bring you to and from Amsterdam Centraal in 15mins. Riding them further along will bring you to Edam/Volendam if you want to discover some Dutch culture and (very touristy) towns.
Coming back late at night? The wedding party will have to end around midnight. Don’t worry, the buses will still run, and there will be a night bus service the whole night.
Bus lines 110, 112 and 315 will bring you to and from Amsterdam Noord (station reachable by metro from anywhere in central Amsterdam). Riding those further might bring you to Zaandam, Edam or Marken.
Coming back late at night? The wedding party will have to end around midnight. Don’t worry, the buses will still run, and there will be a night bus service the whole night.
From the Airport, you can reach the metro station Amsterdam Zuid, and then hop into the Metro line 52, which will bring you to Amsterdam Noord. From there, many different buses will be available to go to Broek in Waterland, just follow the previous indications
If you want less connections, take any train to Amsterdam Centraal, from there, you can reach one of the buses from the previous section. If you need any help with navigation, don’t hesitate to ask us.
By car:
Broek in Waterland is only a few minutes away from Amsterdam by car, and about 25mins away from Schiphol Airport.
There is one large public parking lot in Broek in Waterland that should accomodate everyone. We really recommend it, the other smaller lots are usually crowded and it’s very complicated to navigate in the village. From there it’s a 5mins walk to the venue.
Staying overnight?
Are you planning on staying overnight? We are planning a shared accommodation for anyone who would like to stay with us. When filling up your RSVP, you will have the option to mention if you are interested in staying with us, and for what nights.
From the accommodation (actual one TBD), there will be a bus connection to the venue.
